Stuart studied architecture at the Glasgow School of Art and the University of Westminster. Prior to joining the practice in 2008, he worked in Scotland for offices including NORD and City Architecture Office.
At Studiodare Architects, Stuart has acquired considerable experience working with large client organisations in transport and infrastructure sectors, with sustained involvement on the Northern Line Extension for TfL. In addition, he has completed a number of sensitive residential and conservation projects.
With a strong technical background, Stuart has excellent presentation and CAD skills. He is also an articulate communicator and reviews student work at Kingston, De Montfort, and Central St Martins schools of architecture.
Stuart is a prolific global traveller and has seen first-hand the huge social and economic benefits that improved public transport and infrastructure brings. He has written articles about his experiences, and attends talks and debates regarding societies’ attitude towards our environment, be it local or international.
